PRIVACY POLICY

INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy describes how Forcebar handles information when you use the app. We believe in keeping things simple and transparent.

The short version: we collect minimal anonymous analytics and anonymous error reports to help improve the game, and your game progress is stored locally on your device. We do not collect personal information, require accounts, or share data with third parties beyond anonymous analytics and error reporting.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Analytics

Forcebar uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage data. This includes information such as session duration, which features are used, device type, and operating system version. This data is collected in aggregate and cannot be used to identify you personally. No names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information are included.

Error Reporting

Forcebar uses Sentry to collect anonymous error and crash reports. When the app encounters an error, technical information such as the error type, stack trace, device model, and operating system version may be sent to Sentry. This data is anonymous, contains no personally identifiable information, and is used solely to identify and fix bugs.

Local Storage

Forcebar stores your game progress โ€” including best times and unlocked levels โ€” locally on your device using standard device storage. This data is used solely to preserve your progress between sessions and never leaves your device.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

Forcebar does not collect or store any of the following:

No account or login is required to use Forcebar. You can play immediately without providing any personal information.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Forcebar uses PostHog for anonymous analytics. PostHog processes anonymized usage data on our behalf in accordance with their privacy practices. For more information, see the PostHog Privacy Policy.

Forcebar uses Sentry for anonymous error reporting. Sentry processes anonymized crash and error data on our behalf in accordance with their privacy practices. For more information, see the Sentry Privacy Policy.

No other third-party services are used that collect or process user data.

DATA RETENTION

Anonymous analytics data collected via PostHog is retained according to PostHog's default data retention policies. Anonymous error data collected via Sentry is retained according to Sentry's default data retention policies. Because this data is not linked to any individual, it cannot be associated with you personally.

Local game data (best times, unlocked levels) persists on your device for as long as the app is installed. This data is not backed up to any external service.

DATA DELETION

To delete all local game data, simply uninstall Forcebar from your device. This will permanently remove all locally stored progress and preferences.

Analytics data collected via PostHog and error data collected via Sentry are anonymous and cannot be traced back to individual users, so it is not possible to request deletion of specific records tied to you.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Forcebar is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no personal information is required to use the app, the risk of inadvertent collection is minimal.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information in connection with Forcebar, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date at the top.

Continued use of Forcebar after any changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
